Photorealism with a Twist

Extensive detail pieces attempt to capture a nearly photorealistic version of the subject, but with the beautiful twist of being entirely triangles. These pieces can use upwards of several thousand triangles (depending on the reference), in a huge variety of sizes. Care is taken to vary the sizes and placement of triangles to offer a dynamic texture to the final piece, using miniscule triangles around fine areas and large triangles for bigger structures.

The end result is a life-like piece that is photorealistic, but totally unique.
